Cricfy TV for iPhone & iPad — Honest 2026 iOS Guide

There is no native iOS APK because Apple's App Store does not allow sideloading. Below are the three workarounds that actually work in 2026 — ranked by reliability.

Method 1 — AirPlay mirror from Android (most reliable)

If you have any Android phone or tablet in the household, this is the cleanest path. You install Cricfy TV on the Android device, mirror its screen to your iPhone or iPad via a free AirPlay-receiver app, and watch on the iOS device. Stream quality is identical to native because the iOS device is just a display.

  1. Install Cricfy TV v6.8 on any Android phone (the home page has the APK).
  2. On the iPhone / iPad, install LonelyScreen, AirServer, or ApowerMirror from the App Store.
  3. Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  4. On the Android device, swipe down → Cast → pick the AirPlay receiver name.
  5. The Cricfy TV stream plays on your iPhone screen with under 80 ms lag.

Method 2 — Cricfy Web Player (works on any iOS browser)

We ship a progressive-web-app version of the player at play.cricfy.net.in (login is the same: no login). It covers about 70% of the channel catalogue — high-bitrate Premier League and IPL feeds work fine, but DRM-protected DAZN streams are blocked by iOS Safari's restricted MSE policy.

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone / iPad.
  2. Visit play.cricfy.net.in.
  3. Tap the Share button → Add to Home Screen.
  4. Open the new icon from your home screen — runs full-screen like a native app.

Method 3 — Community TestFlight build (limited slots)

A volunteer maintainer ships a SwiftUI native build through Apple TestFlight. Apple caps TestFlight at 10,000 users per build, so slots fill within minutes of each release. Watch our contact page for the next invite drop.

Important: Cricfy TV is not affiliated with the community TestFlight build, and we cannot guarantee its update cadence. Method 1 (AirPlay mirror) is the most reliable long-term option.

What about Cydia, AltStore, Sideloadly?

These tools work in theory but require a paid Apple Developer account ($99/year) or weekly re-signing, which is not a setup we feel comfortable recommending to a general audience. If you are technical enough to maintain an AltStore signature certificate, the .ipa is available on the Old Versions page under "iOS unofficial builds".

iPhone / iPad FAQ

Will there ever be a native Cricfy TV iOS app?

A native build is on the v7 roadmap, but App Store review for live broadcast retransmission is exceptionally strict, so the official answer is "we are exploring it". The community TestFlight build is our interim answer.

Can I AirPlay directly to Apple TV?

Yes — same flow as iPhone. The Android device casts to Apple TV via the built-in AirPlay receiver. Apple TV 4K handles 1080p Cricfy TV streams beautifully.

Does Chromecast from iPhone work?

If you use Method 2 (Web Player), Safari's cast button casts to any Chromecast on the same Wi-Fi.
